Hello Lovelies! Hope you are all having a great day. I am often asked for product recommendations and in this post, I have gathered ten of my personal makeup and beauty must-haves. They may not all be perfect for everyone, but I am sure that there will be at least one or a few that you will like – or even become obsessed with, just like myself.
This is one of those feel good-products that I totally need in my life. Dior’s One Essential has an oil-in-water formula that gives a light and air-whipped mist texture. It purifies the skin with a triple anti-pollution action of cleansing, rebalancing and detoxifying. Perfect as a last step before applying serum and moisturiser. Leaves skin hydrated and is very agreeable to spray on.
I love the feeling of my skin after applying this foundation! The formula is lightweight and oil-free, with a long-lasting, matte, sheer to medium coverage. It makes the skin appear smooth, luminous and healthy – airbrushed, more or less. Available in nine beautiful shades.
A great multitasking product which can be used on its own, but also as the finishing touch on top of a foundation. I like it because it gives a sheer and natural, beautiful glow to the skin. At the same time, it takes away unwanted shininess, leaving the skin looking and feeling healthy. Choose one shade darker than your usual to create a bronzing effect.
This is another must in my beauty bag! A very natural looking bronzer without any awkward orange undertones. It is incredibly versatile and mixable and can be used for many different looks and purposes. The formula is quite long-lasting, and I recommend starting with a little bit and then add more to build your look as needed. Great for contouring!
This brilliant eyebrow definer pencil is easy to use and makes a big difference to your look. It features a triangular tip which gives great precision when outlining and filling in the brows. I also love the colours: very natural looking and one application lasts all day long.
A very easy-to-use product, which highlights lips and cheeks with ultra-blendable colour. It is highly pigmented and has a lovely light mousse-texture that gives a soft finish, but still with edgy attitude. I would definitely recommend anybody to have one of these in their handbag.
Technically, it is a highlighter. But honestly, it is a lot more than that – it is a proper bar of gold (dust). Charlotte Tilbury’s Bar of Gold contains light reflecting gold pearls that illuminate the skin, and is ideal for sculpting and for creating an even skin tone, as it softly blurs any imperfections. Great for dull skin days at work – as well as for red carpet glamour.
Another loveable multitasking product, which works as a concealer, highlighter and complexion-brightener, depending on what you need it for. The formula contains light-reflecting pigments to reduce the appearance of for instance fine lines and dark circles. Gives a light and silky, medium coverage and is perfect for enhancing and illuminating skin, as well as for smaller touch ups throughout the day.
I absolutely love these lipsticks! By now I own them in five different shades (oups!), among other Lolita (pictured) and Lovecraft. The formula is incredibly long-lasting, but also comfortable and your lips will never feel dry, no matter how long you wear it for. Out of all lipsticks I have tried (which are quite a few by now), this is probably my favourite so far. To me it is faultless!
A handy, double-ended lipstick that gives a very natural and smooth finish. Light and creamy formula, which is easy to apply with the practical sponge tip. Excellent for creating a stunning ombre look.
